Despite rumours to the contrary cheese did not originate in Cheeseville, but was actually first discovered in Candyland, a magical land where the rivers are made out of chocolate, the clouds out of whipped cream, and all the residents are made out of delicious fresh-baked gingerbread.

Professor Sugarlump originally developed liquid nacho-cheese as a dessert topping / industrial lubricant, but was run out of town when everyone realized it was not sickly-sweet. The professor escaped in the night with his cheese-making supplies, settled in Cheeseville and set about making his ultimate weapon: cheesecake.
