King Kong

Ok,

I bawled and bawled like a baby in King Kong.

Loved it.

Thought it could lose the stoopid brontasaurus stampeed, the t-rexes supported by vines hanging!!!! the ship against the rocks that doesn't seem to sustain damage, etc etc....

But the fucking APE!!!!!!(golum guy Andy Sertic, as well as the facial stuff), and Niaomi Watts(sp?) was fucking perfect, i thought.

I thought she should have jumped off after Kong, but whatever. I missed alot of that GLORIOUS ariel footage @ the end with sobbing, but the choice to set it in the 30's was DEAD ON!. Old NYC looked awesome.

I still gotta say though cgi hasn't arrived. everything has to go by so fucking fast to work, it still can't stand the light of day-well, organic characters i mean- the city looked great.

what was up with Skull Island? It's skull, not skulls. fuck they put a fucking skull everywhere. and the vampire bats!!!! they appear to live up there in the "Kong family cave" so, what? they ALWAYS fucking attack him like that? s'up with that? i couldn't see Kong surviving more than 2 weeks if every day were like what we saw!!!!!!!!!

But again- it had the sweetness. it was perfect- NO ape eyes of love aka disney, no bullshit with the ape- the way you knew he liked you is he didn't fucking tear you apart. The ape looked awesome & perfect. and she was great.

everything else didn't matter to me.
